Do you allow pets?

Yes! The Steamboat Hotel allows dogs only. We allow one dog in a room. The nightly pet fees is $25+tax. All Pet Rooms are located on our lower level. Our Pet Friendly rooms are Non-Smoking 2 Double beds are Non-Smoking 1 Queen. Please call ahead to check availability on our Pet Rooms. Pet rooms are limited so they are on first come, first serve basis. Guest that show up with Pets unannounced is subject to cancellation.

A Valid Credit Card should be provided and will be pre-authorized in the amount of $75.00 as a Security Deposit. This will be done in the event there is any damage or additional cleaning costs associated from your Dog's stay.


We love dogs but we have recently encountered irresponsible behavior from dog-owners and had to set these rules:
  • Please let us know you have a pet at the time of check-in. Some rooms are pet-free and if we don’t know you have a pet, we might assign you to a pet-free room and your charge for cleaning will be $200+tax instead of $25.00+tax along with any damages or additional cleaning costs.
  • Please do not leave your dog unattended in the room. If you do and your dog barks – you may be held responsible for refunds to guests next-door who may choose to leave the property because of the barking dog.
  • Please always have your dog on a leash.
  • Please do not bring your dog to the common areas (pool/hot tub/laundry).
All dogs should be in a kennel.

What kind of transportation is there?

The Steamboat Hotel is located on the FREE city bus line. There is a stop in our front parking lot. The bus runs every 20 minutes from the hotel, taking you to the mountain area and to downtown. This is a year round service.

And transportation from the airport?

There are two services that will take you to and from the Hayden Airport and DIA:
Storm Mountain Express
Go! Alpine

How many levels is the hotel?

The Steamboat Hotel is a three (3) story hotel. Please note that there is not an elevator, if you require a first floor room, please call ahead of time

Do I have to pay for parking?

No! The Steamboat Hotel provides sufficient free parking. Including large truck and trailer parking
